Departmental Rules
- A minimum of 75% attendance in classes is mandatory for eligibility to appear in the final examinations, in accordance with university guidelines.
- Students must return any borrowed items to the Departmental Library before collecting their admit cards for the final examinations.
- Active participation in seminars, debates, workshops, and political discussions organized by the department is expected from all students to enhance their academic and extracurricular development.
- Students must appear for Class Tests, Pre-Tests, and Test Examinations, as these are mandatory components for assessment and progress evaluation.
- Students must inform the Head of the Department (HoD) in writing in case of continuous absence for more than seven consecutive days due to illness or other valid reasons.
- Students must maintain high academic integrity by refraining from any form of plagiarism, cheating, or dishonesty during examinations and assignments.
- Students are expected to adhere to the college’s code of conduct, maintaining respect and discipline within the department and campus at all times.
- Students must ensure that they dispose of waste in designated dustbins and avoid littering within the department and campus.
- Students must switch off lights and fans when leaving classrooms or the department to conserve energy.
- Students should exhibit professionalism and respect towards faculty members, peers, and administrative staff while fostering a healthy academic environment.
